WEKA Ideal Choice for Basements

The insulating material, which has been developed by Mr. Walter Tasser of Pfalzen in South Tyrol (Italy), is based on the insulating properties of the wool (Wolle) and a natural stabilizer to improve the structural properties of the panel (Kalk, therefore WEKA).

The physical properties have been improved through combination with a natural alkaline solution (patent pending) to result in a rigid board ready for direct installation as an outer layer of the wall. No fiberglass or dry walls are required.

This allows the panel to act as the 'breathing skin' of the wall and to improve the living comfort. Wool is known to be able to adsorb moisture and is an efficient humidity control.
